ERB and RNE Strengthen Partnership with Focus on Female Engineers

The Engineers Registration Board (ERB) and the Royal Norwegian Embassy (RNE) recently held a fruitful second meeting, solidifying their collaborative efforts to empower female engineers in Tanzania. The partnership supports a three-year program aimed at fostering professional growth and leadership among women in the engineering sector.
Under this initiative, 100 female engineering graduates—80 from Mainland Tanzania and 20 from Zanzibar—will undergo training to qualify for professional registration as engineers. Additionally, 35 women professionals will receive advanced training in leadership and management through the "Female Future" program, equipping them to take on roles in boardrooms and executive management.
During the meeting, Ms. Camilla Danneving, Councilor at RNE, and Mr. Morten Heide were presented with a special souvenir by the ERB Registrar on behalf of Her Excellency, RNE Ambassador Ms. Ton Tinnes. This gesture symbolized the shared commitment to advancing gender equity and professional development in the engineering field.
This collaboration marks a significant step towards enhancing inclusivity and leadership diversity within Tanzania's engineering landscape.
